Office of International Exchange and Cooperation (and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of NACTA), is the official administrative department responsible for implementing NACTA’s policies on cooperation in education and arts with partners all around the world. It supports institutional visits and activities, develops and manages programs in education and arts, engages experts and specialists with international exposure and enrolls international students, etc. It is also responsible for the recruitment of Chinese language teachers and artistic teachers for Binghamton Confucius Institute (CI) which was jointly established by NACTA and Binghamton University in 2009, as well as for the administrative work as one of the institutional partners of CI.   

NACAT has established healthy and collaborative relationships with 22 universities and colleges, such as State University of New York at Binghamton (U.S.A.), University of Arts (U.S.A.), University of Sussex (U.K.), Ulster University (U.K.), Concordia University (Canada); Zurich University of the Arts (Switzerland), St. Petersburg National Drama Academy (Russia), Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture University (Russia), Paris National Higher Academy of Drama Art (France), Seoul Institute of the Arts (South Korea), J.F.Oberlin University(Japan) and Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (HK, China), Taibei University of Arts (Taibei City,China), Taiwan College of Performing Arts (Taibei City, China). In November 2009, NACTA established the first Confucius Institute featured by courses on Chinese theatre arts with State University of New York at Binghamton. By now, this CI has cultivated thousands of overseas students who love traditional Chinese culture and arts.

NACTA has been providing scores of MA degree, BA degree and non-degree study programs for students from the U.S.A, Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea and from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan areas. At the same time, NACTA also establishes Chinese language classes and hold Chinese Culture and Theatre Arts Summer/Winter camps at intervals.
